LOCATION DETAILS: IT WAS ON A OLD PIPE LINE RD BY A GRAVEL PIT THAT EXISTED IN THE 70'S. UP ON SOUTH HILL IN PUYALLUP.

NEAREST ROAD: PIPE LINE RD 94TH AVE EAST

ALSO NOTICED: WE HAD BEEN HEARING THE SCREAMS FOR A FEW WEEKS AND THE DOGS AT NIGHT WOULD BE GOING NUTS.

OTHER WITNESSES: YES MYSELF AND A LITTLE BOY AROUND AGE 12

OTHER STORIES: YES PEOPLE WERE SAYING THEY HAD HEARD THE SOUND OF BIG FOOT BUT NOT SURE HOW LONG THIS HAD BEEN GOING ON. AND THAN MYSELF AND A FREIND WERE RIDING BIKES AND THIS THING WALKED ACROSS THE ROAD ABOUT 50 YARD IN FRONT OF US, IT CAME OUT OF THE WOODED AREA AND STOPED AND LOOKED AT US THAN CROSSED THE ROAD IN FRONT OF US

TIME AND CONDITIONS: IT WAS DURING THE DAY AND IT WAS SUNNY & NICE

Follow-up investigation report by BFRO Investigator Jim Von Lossow:

The witness has vivid recall of the sighting that day. Although she was 12 years old at the time it has haunted her for all these years. The bipedal creature was sighted at a distance of 200 yards, not 50 yards as in her description. The other witness never talked about it again after that day and the two have not been in contact for over 25 years.

Additional comments from the witness: The sasquatch was big, but no other dimensions could be determined. The creature paused as it crossed the road, then turned and faced the bike riders as they approached. It looked at them, then again turned and continued to cross the road. It disappeared into the thick cover. When they got to the crossing area, they saw nothing and pedaled home stricken with fear. They told their parents who did not take them seriously and the entire matter was dropped. The witness distinctly remembers being woke up late at night by "horrible" loud screaming vocalizations. These lasted for weeks in the general area of the neighborhood.
