Huge footprints discovered in a Duvall garden

YEAR: 1998

SEASON: Spring

DATE: dont know

STATE: Washington

COUNTY: King County

LOCATION DETAILS: Kelly road to stossell creek road

NEAREST TOWN: Carnation

NEAREST ROAD: kelly road

OBSERVED: I live in the Cascade foothills 10 miles east of Duvall.About 1200 feet up. My husband and I had 2 very large foot prints in our vegetable garden They were perfect because the dirt was just tilled for spring planting. The space between the foot prints was way to wide to be human. We didn't use plaster for an impression or get a picture, but we both know it was bigfoot. My father inlaw saw them too and could'nt explain them. It is kinda neat to think a bigfoot walked threw our yard right in front of our house. I wonder if they are up in the forest watching us work in the yard? We don't tell too many people because they think you're nuts. I'm pretty careful who I tell. It's been about 4 or 5 years now.
I decided to tell you because I just saw the discovery kids show on the bigfoot.
Thank you

ALSO NOTICED: none that was unusual enough.

OTHER WITNESSES: 3 I was getting ready to work in my vegie garden and I noticed them and called my husband and father inlaw over.

OTHER STORIES: No

TIME AND CONDITIONS: late morning

ENVIRONMENT: top of a foothill of the cascades 1200 ft elev
soft dirt in vegie garden major creek about 100ft from there.

Follow-up investigation report:

I spoke with the homeowner and there are a few other details to add. Her property is not fenced and her garden is in her front yard. There are 300 acres of heavily wooded land all around her and other neighbors own five acre pieces.

The two footprints were deep in the soil of her garden, each with five toes clearly visible. The footprints were very wide across the ball of the foot and they were much longer than her father-in-law's size 12 shoes.
