Woman delivering newspapers hears possible vocalizations near Randle

SEASON: Summer MONTH: July DATE: 1 STATE: Washington COUNTY: Lewis County LOCATION DETAILS: East end of Silverbrook Rd NEAREST TOWN: Randle NEAREST ROAD: Hwy 12 and Silverbrook rd OBSERVED: At 3:30 am on July 1 2017. I was delivering newspapers and heard a loud howl then about a minute later a deeper sounding howl with a grunt like sound at the end. It gave me a really nervous feeling. Made me jumpy feeling. I have never heard anything like it before. 2 hours later on my return trip to finish paper route. I looked around the area I had heard the sounds and saw the brush broken down on the upward bank of the hillside, like something big had climbed up the bank. Very dark at 3:30 that morning, then normal daylight. ALSO NOTICED: No other animal sounds super quiet very unusual for that time and area been working that area and time for months. Follow-up investigation report by BFRO Investigator Scott Taylor:
This witness delivers papers every Saturday morning. She is on the road from about 2:00 AM until she finishes sometime after daylight. She travels from Morton all the way to Packwood.
She was on Washington Highway 12, traveling west-bound, near the east end of Silverbrook Road. She had the window rolled-down and she was putting a paper in the box when she heard two vocalizations. The first one came from about 50 yards away. It was described as a high pitched “Whooo-oop”, which gave her the impression that is was a “Where are you?”. The second vocalization came from a different direction and was further away. The tone of this one was deeper and louder, which she described as a whoop-growl. She felt that the first one was a female and the second was a male.
She noticed that the cows were all bunched-up by the nearest house. Usually they are spread-out in the pasture. She said that it was eerily quiet and that she usually can hear night birds and other noises. This time, it was silent. Further, her small dogs dove to the floor-boards to hide. She said that she felt an overwhelming fear that has stayed with her to this day.
She went back after daylight, and found a trail coming out of the woods. She said that the vocalizations came from the area between Highway 12 and Silverbrook road.
There was another report from very close to this area, and that sasquatch, which was clearly seen by the whole family, came from the mountains to the north side of Silverbrook road. This report was briefly published, and then taken down due to people figuring out where the actual residence was and who they were, and then trespassing trying to find the sasquatch.

Scott Taylor is a retired aerospace manager. He lives in Mason County, Washington. He had his first bigfoot encounter in October 2005 where he was stalked and later heard vocalizations.
Scott has attended official BFRO Expeditions in the Washington Cascades in 2006, 2007, 2008, 2009, 2010, 2011, 2012 and 2013. He also attended 2007 Central Oregon Cascades and 2007 Utah. He now organizes BFRO expeditions in Washington and has participated in bigfoot conferences over the past 17 years.
