Follow-up investigation report by BFRO Investigator Jack Smarr:

I spoke to the witness on Saturday September 27th, 2014. He stated that he heard the most blood curdling howls you have ever heard, including one the prior evening of September 26th. The witness hears the howls late at night when he is visiting his friend's residence. The chain of events started a month and a half ago, when his friend was awakened in the middle of the night by a bone chilling scream. The howls have been occurring every two or three nights according to the witness. He has also noticed that when the howls are close by there is a musky dog scent close by.

Last year, the witness and a friend drove out to Meadow’s Grove Road where it dead ends at a grave yard. Driving back on the road, they saw something black with an estimated height of 7 to 8 feet. As the car approached, they saw it run on two legs down to the woods. They could hear it crashing through the brush. The witness verified the height by comparing it to a tree it was standing beside and coming up with an estimate.

Since this is still an active occurrence, I encouraged the witness to use his digital recorder in an attempt to capture the howls.
