(Show Printer-friendly Version) YEAR: 1997 SEASON: Summer MONTH: September PROVINCE: Ontario COUNTRY: Canada LOCATION DETAILS: Hwy#11North 50km north of Nipigon Ont. OBSERVED: Driving on Hwy11 at night when the creature crossed the road and went into the bush. It was a dark brown or black in colour and I think about 7ft tall. I didn't stop to look for it, since it was dark. OTHER WITNESSES: A trucker was behind me, but I didn't speak with him. TIME AND CONDITIONS: The sighting occured in September 97 ENVIRONMENT: Mixed forest area and very mountainous with several small lakes nearby.
