Morning road crossing sighting near the town of Edmond. (Show Printer-friendly Version) YEAR: 1997 SEASON: Summer MONTH: July DATE: 7 STATE: Oklahoma COUNTY: Logan County NEAREST TOWN: Edmond, Oklahoma NEAREST ROAD: 2 miles west & 1mile north of I-35 & Waterloo Road. OBSERVED: I saw a hairy medium build creature about six foot tall with long arms crossing a dirt road. At first it was walking then began a fast gate after seeing me coming in my truck. I have not searched for footprints and nothing was heard.After crossing road it disappeared into woods. ALSO NOTICED: none OTHER WITNESSES: I was the only witness and was driving toward it when it started the fast gate. TIME AND CONDITIONS: 7:15 am clear and sunny about 75 - 80 degrees ENVIRONMENT: Geography: Siting occured in heavily wooded area near creek. A volunteer fire station is direcly west about 3/4 miles.
