(Show Printer-friendly Version) YEAR: 2001 SEASON: Winter MONTH: January DATE: 1/5-6/2001 STATE: Texas COUNTY: Lubbock County LOCATION DETAILS: In the yellow house canyon just south of the Lubbock Lake Site NEAREST TOWN: Lubbock Texas NEAREST ROAD: Yellow House Canyon OBSERVED: On the afternoon of January 5th 2001, I discovered several footprints in the Yellow House Canyon of Lubbock Texas. I took several photographs of the footprints. OTHER WITNESSES: There were probably four or five witnesses to the tracks and photographs OTHER STORIES: There are several stories of big-foot like creatures that roam the canyons. Some people call them the "Canyon Thang" TIME AND CONDITIONS: daytime ENVIRONMENT: On the Edge of the canyon. Flat land, with little vegetation, and fresh snow.
