LOCATION DETAILS: we are off of highway 40

NEAREST TOWN: wildersville

NEAREST ROAD: farmsville rd.

OBSERVED: I live in henderson county in west tennessee on the border of the natchez trace state park my home is about a 1/4 of a mile back from the road and is surounded by forest i have a small man made pond near my home that dosent have very much water in it right now my husband was doing some yard work around it when he noticed large foot prints down in the mud and some that were in the shallow water he called me outside to take a look. to me it looked like there were three sizes a very large pair and then two smaller pairs although the smaller pairs were still much larger than my husbands foot even with his shoe on you could see 5 toes and the arches in the foot i doubt that they could be anything else but this worrys me because i have an 11 month old baby in the house and my husband leaves for work at 3:30 a.m. every day i have a dog but she is very small

ALSO NOTICED: well in september i thought i heard a wierd noise like a whoop sound in the middle of the night but not sure

ENVIRONMENT: miles of forest lots of pine trees and rivers and lots of rolling ground and hills

Follow-up investigation report by BFRO Investigator Tony Gerard:

I was able to speak with both the reporting witness and her husband by phone. The prints resembled a barefoot human track and looked recent when first discovered. Although no actual measurements were taken the husband estimated the larger prints to be six to eight inches wide at the widest point and about sixteen inches long. Regrettably no pictures were taken and the area of the prints is now underwater.

The husband stated the neighbors who live on the same road reported hearing a "screaming sound" one night during the last week of February.
