These pictures were taken February 2, 2009 in southern Missouri by Bill Bowen, a local BFRO investigator. The prints measure 14'' long by 5'' wide. The snow was 2 1/2'' deep and very hard. Bill barely dented the snow, but the maker of these prints sunk in 1 1/4 inches.
The prints are on property where the residents have been reporting activity now for four months. Some of the activity experienced include bird calls in the middle of the night, wood knocks, and items being taken only to show up days later.
On March 18, 2009 Bill was able to observe two Bigfoots peeking out from behind a tree about 100 ft away. Determined heights were one being 7 ft and the other 8 ft tall. Interestingly enough, the taller one appeared to be the most skittish and shy of the two.
This area of Missouri has had a long history of sightings going back 150 years. The local name given to the Bigfoots is "Blueman". The reason being, is when they are seen during the day their black coats have a blue hue in the sunlight.
