LOCATION DETAILS: Power line cut runs though this land which has the Elk River running all along the back half. To get there you go down 64 West, turn on Old Elkton Pike then go to Cheateam Road. Go down about a mile, on left

OBSERVED: In 2016 the young man I carry hunting who was 14 at the time I dropped him off at his deer blind. After about 15 to 20 min he said he heard a loud wooooooo then like something clapped its hand together very loud sound. Then he heard like a tree getting pushed down .Then 2 days ago on Nov 25, 2017 we were on the same plot of land around 5:30AM. We were in my truck going down the lane headed to the deer blind. I had my window down, looking as we drove down. I heard two wooooos and then we heard 2 more louder wooooos. What made us take notice was how loud it was. We guessed that whatever was wooooing was about 200 to 250 yards up in the woods. Remember, my truck was running and it is loud. We couldnt believe it sounded so loud that far away over my engine.
I'm not saying it was Bigfoot or not. All we know that it was LOUD. I don't think something small could make such a loud noise. You would have to be there to just hear how loud this sound was. We stopped and and listened for about 30 to 45 secs. We didn't hear anything else so we drove on down and shined our lights up in the woods and didn't see or hear anything else.
This is twice now that this has happened to us same place same time of morning and same time of year.
ALSO NOTICED: I am 50 yrs old I have been in the woods since I was 5 yrs old and have never heard anything like this. I will say once when we were camping on the same land about 5 yrs or so ago something woke me up in the middle of the night kinda screaming like down on the river. It didn't wake anybody else up but me but. That screaming was different from what I heard two days ago.
OTHER WITNESSES: The 1st time one witness. The 2nd time it was 2 witnesses. We were in the truck, a loud running Diesel engine going to a deer stand
OTHER STORIES: No
TIME AND CONDITIONS: Around 5:30 am both times
ENVIRONMENT: 42 acres of woods, river bottom with woods and farm land all around. Not many people live in this area.

I have spoken with both witnesses mentioned in this case. Both are credible locals. Neither of them live on this property but they hunt on it every year during deer season.

The other witness in this report said the sounds he heard were fairly close to his tree stand. That spot is one half mile from the Cheatham Road bridge over Elk River.
The 2015 incident described in report 50250 also occurred within 900 yards (shouting distance) of a bridge -- Hobbs Bridge. That bridge is 1.5 crow miles from where the howls occurred in 2017.
These two bridges are the only two ways to cross Elk River without getting wet for miles upstream or downstream. Many other cases near lonely rural bridges indicate that bigfoots use them to cross rivers.
A very important thing to understand is that bigfoots are very strategic about where they do volleys of loud howls. They seem to pick particular places where their sounds will carry a long ways in several directions, like from ridges or hilltops, or near key bridges.
If bigfoots prefer to walk across unilluminated rural bridges in the wee hours rather than swimming or wading across river, then the bridges are predictable travel choke points for them. Sightings in other parts of the country near various kinds of travel choke points for them (such as large water tunnel uncrossings below busier highways) suggest they sometimes wait near these choke points in the wee hours, as if anticipating other bigfoots will pass through. They seem to position themselves in places where they can see whatever is coming through the choke point.
