OBSERVED: Hi. I'm always "middle of the road" about bigfoot, aliens, UFO's and such until July 25, 2012. We go fishing locally in SE Ohio (Caesar Creek, Paint Creek, Cowan Lake, etc.) On 7/25/2012 at 9:20 p.m., we were about as close as believers in bigfoot as they come. I have 3 videos loaded on YouTube. Just google "creature at Caesar Creek" and you'll find my videos (parts 1,2 & 3). They tell the whole story.

We were packing up to leave the lake on 7/25/2012 about 9:20 p.m. when something about 6 feet tall standing about 30 feet from us, in the woods, began to growl/hiss. It made a bizarre noise. The stench of scat to a rotting animal was overwhelming.

Limbs and small trees had been dragged to block the trail to this fishing spot several times. Tree limbs had been placed blocking the trail on several occasions. I now feel something big is there. I'd love only to see photographic evidence, but otherwise to not disturb it.

ALSO NOTICED: See my video part 3 on YouTube. We noticed trees and branches dragged, to seemingly, to block the trail. We had on occasions smelled horrendous odor of scat and sometimes rotting animal. We have heard howls from the woods but thought those must be coyotes. We are now open to other possibilities.

OTHER WITNESSES: In our incident, two of us, as stated in my video. We had just finished
fishing and were removing lures from poles and preparing to pack up when the first growl occurred.

OTHER STORIES: Yes. Please read the comments below my video, part 1. We had encountered two fishermen about a week after our incident who began to speak of "something" they encountered at about 3:000 a.m. while catfishing. Their incident included bright green reflective eyes and it also threw stones at them. Another commenter said he's heard strange howls coming from the gorge area and another said he actually saw a creature near where we had our encounter.

TIME AND CONDITIONS: At about 9:20 p.m., as I state in the video, a heavy dark storm was moving in, so the woods was getting quite dark. It was past sundown, but we had some visibility.

ENVIRONMENT: This location is a large peninsula that juts out into Caesar Creek Lake. One commenter on my video, part 1, spoke of seeing "something" at this location as well. Aside from the one small road into the peninsula, there are hundreds of acres of thick forest and vegetation
in this vicinity.

Follow-up investigation report by BFRO Investigator Kathy Harrahill:

On 2/8/2024 I interviewed Bobbi Grimes regarding her 7/25/2012 experience reported to BFRO. Bobbi and friend, Greg, arrived at Caesar Creek Lake around 8:30 pm on 7/25/2012 to fish. It was dusk and it looked like it was going to storm in the distance. They parked and were the only car in the lot. They hiked from the lot to a fishing spot on the beach, about a 5 minute or so walk through the woods, to the beach area.

She set up fishing on the beach and Greg walked down the beach to another area farther down, out of eyesight. She estimated she was alone fishing for about 45 minutes. Around 9:15 p.m. she heard Greg heading back towards her. The storm was getting closer, so they felt it was time to leave.

When Greg returned to Bobbi's area, they heard a low guttural, growling, hissing sound came from the tree line. This was about 9:25 p.m.. Greg had stopped and was looking into the tree line as Bobbi was getting her flashlight out of her bag. They were both standing on the beach and as she shined the flashlight into the woods they heard the growling sound again and saw green eyes in the tree line.

The eye spacing was about 5-6 inches apart and about 7-8 feet off the ground. They could not see a figure through the trees, just the eyes moving in a left to right direction, about 6-8 feet side to side. They could hear the trees and brush thrashing as whatever was in the woods moved around.

They observed this for about 5 minutes then gathered their gear and walked along the beach to access a short trail back to the parking area. She noted a smell, a stench like a mix of poop, dirt and sweat. They felt like they were being watched all the way back to the car, but did not see the eyes after leaving the beach.
