ENVIRONMENT: Open sand beach to scrub pine forest

Follow-up investigation report:

Phil has been following native stories, listening to the various calls and sounds, and following spoor of these creatures for 16 years along southern Oregon coastal habitats. Phil said the animals move out of the Siskiyou mountains in late fall to forage for berries and then spend the winter on coastal lowlands untilizing shell fish and beach carrion.

I found his knowledge very interesting and informative. He has indicated interest in working with our research team.
