I was standing on the front deck of my sister's cabin.
NEAREST TOWN: Wirt
NEAREST ROAD: CR127
ALSO NOTICED: I heard an animal howl, much louder and longer than a wolf could have made. I estimated it to be a quarter to half mile East of my position. It happened 2 or 3 times.
I recently found online a sound called "The Ohio Howl" which is close but not long enough.
OTHER WITNESSES: One. I did go inside after I heard it, to get someone else to come out and listen, but that may or may not have happened. I'm sure I was the only one to hear it.
I was enjoying a Coors beer I had brought from Denver, Colo.
