OBSERVED: Looking out front door window at 10 pm. on March, 12 2025, I see ape-like creature walking very briskly north on 49th st. in front of my property. It was very large, about 8 ft. tall, hunched forward.

I am a senior but of sound mind. Have never seen it before. Have never heard of any sightings before. I told my son who lives in WA.

It had very large arms and legs. It was walking in dark shadow but in moonlight, looking straight forward.

ALSO NOTICED: No, I have lived at my property for 52 yrs. Have never seen one before.

OTHER WITNESSES: No witness except myself.

OTHER STORIES: No, but the neighbors text me pictures of wildlife like deer and mountain lions they catch on their trail cameras.

TIME AND CONDITIONS: 10pm dark, no street light, in remote area.

ENVIRONMENT: Foothill’s of Rocky Mtns. Gravel road, remote area.

Follow-up investigation report by BFRO Investigator Matthew Moneymaker:

I spoke with the witness at length about her sighting two days ago. As she mentioned, she is senior citizen. And as she adamantly explained to me, she still has all her faculties. She is very credible and not seeking attention. She felt compelled to report what she saw.

She definitely saw a bigfoot on March 12 in this relatively desolate area near the foothills of the Rockies.

She has lived on the property for 52 years. Even before speaking with her I looked up the location and could see it was the sort of place in Colorado where we would expect sightings in the cold months, when animals come down out the high mountains to avoid the snows.

There have been other reports within a few miles of the Front Range foothills, most often south of Denver. In this area 11 miles north of Boulder there is a creek bed running out of the mountains with trees along it that comes close to her property.

This creature was around 8 feet tall and looked very heavy. She was adamant that it had to be a bigfoot because of the size of the creature.

It was walking north along the gravel road (49th street approaching St. Vrain), walking roughly in the middle of the gravel road. She only saw it for a few seconds as it passed by but she got a good look at the moving shape in the moonlight.

There is a large alfalfa field to the north of her property. Judith sees deer around her property frequently, She would see elk herds around there in the past, but not often in recent decades.

There is no snow on the ground at present, nor was there snow on the ground there are Wednesday night when this sighting occurred.
