Report # 71929  (Class B)
Submitted by witness Cynthia Johnson on Wednesday, December 1, 2021.
Likely road crossing sighting of a sasquatch 20 miles southeast of Moncton, New Brunswick, Canada

YEAR: 2021

SEASON: Summer

MONTH: August

DATE: 25

PROVINCE: New Brunswick

COUNTRY: Canada

LOCATION DETAILS: [Investigator (MM) Notes:

GPS coordinates for witness's best guess as to crossing point:

45.939918, -64.430613

NEAREST TOWN: Sackville

NEAREST ROAD: Walker Road

OBSERVED: I was driving our truck and following Scott (my husband) driving his tractor out of what has become known as the "tower road". We turned onto Walker Road heading NE towards Highway #2.

It was a nice sunny morning and we were both wearing short-sleeved t-shirts. As we approached the first of two crests, I watched a "man" casually walk across the dirt road in the distance heading in a southerly direction. Both sides of the road are forested. It took "him" about 4 or 5 steps to get across the road which is about 10 meters (35 feet) wide.

I thought to myself: "This guy is huge." My first thought was that it was a Bigfoot but I never heard of any Bigfoot sightings in New Brunswick, so I dismissed the thought.

This "guy" was at least 2 meters (7 feet) tall, and appeared to be wearing heavy winter clothing. The only thing I could see was "his" silhouette; no colors. "He" looked like he was wearing a toque with ear flaps that went to "his" shoulders; somewhat similar to an aviator or trapper hat where the forehead portion was flat. "He" also appeared to be wearing a heavy winter jacket that went to "his" knees. The sleeves or "his" arms were long and almost reached "his" knees.

About 3 steps in, "he" turned around and faced the road to watch Scott drive by. "He" didn't seem to twist at the waist but instead moved "his" legs to turn "his" body. After Scott drove by, "he" again used his legs to turn around and 2 steps later, "he" was gone. By the time I got to "his" location I looked in and couldn't see anything. There is a steep downhill bank and I didn't stop; I kept driving.

After we got home, I asked Scott if he saw that huge guy that walked across the road in front of him. He said no, he was looking in the woods to his right. I said "How could you miss him; he was huge!".

Scanning through the TV a few nights later, I came across an episode of Expedition Bigfoot and watched it. I learned that Bigfoot has next to nothing for a neck. I then decided to search for Bigfoot sightings in New Brunswick and was surprised to find several sightings.
