OBSERVED: I did not see anything but I did hear in the space of about 1 hour consistent banging like wood hitting wood 3 strikes a pause and then again. This might not sound like anything but the time of the night it happened made me think it could be something out of the ordinary.The time was about 3 am.

OTHER WITNESSES: Me and one other person heard the sounds and we both had the same reaction who would be out at this time of the night to make this sound.

ENVIRONMENT: THICK PINE FOREST WITH MOUNTAINS ALL AROUND.
