LOCATION DETAILS: It was locate about 20 minutes east of Brookville lake and about 2 minutes east of Govner Bev park.

NEAREST TOWN: Okeana

NEAREST ROAD: state route129

OBSERVED: I saw a tall dark figure walking with very long strides. It was about seven feet tall or taller. It was walking in the distance so I didn't get that close of a look at it. It had very long arms, much longer than a human's. There was a very bad smell after it had passed, not like anything I had ever smelled before.

OTHER WITNESSES: 2 people. we were walking in our back yard.

OTHER STORIES: Others in the area have reported seeing a similar creature.

TIME AND CONDITIONS: It was about 12:00 p.m.. It was very dark except for the light pole on the farm. It was warm clear sky and no wind.

ENVIRONMENT: farm land- corn fields, wheat fields, alot of woods, many ponds and lakes, creeks

Follow-up investigation report by BFRO Investigator Jim Osborne:

I spoke with the witness and his father. The father and mother heard a strange scream ( followed soon after by a bad smell) around midnight July 13th of this year. See report #4659. The son and a friend later scouted out the woods and found large tracks near a creek bed (on July18th). He said the tracks were 50% larger than his size 16 shoes, and had 4 discernible toes.
