YEAR: 2004
SEASON: Winter
MONTH: January
DATE: 14
STATE: Arkansas
COUNTY: Marion County
LOCATION DETAILS: Take Arkansas Highway 178 going north from Flippin towards Bull Shoals Lake. In one and half miles turn left (west) on Quarry Mountain Road (County Rd 8060). Go to the top of the mountain and around the first corner. That's where I seen it.
NEAREST TOWN: Flippin
NEAREST ROAD: Arkansas Highway 178
OBSERVED: I was going home from work. I work nights at a plastics company and went up to the lake that night going home that way.
I seen something that looked like a big goat at first. Then I got closer and it stood up in the middle of the road. It was white and taller than the car. I did not see it after I went by, it was gone.
This happened at about 3:00 am. It was weird to me. I've never seen it again but would like to find it. It makes me very curious.
OTHER WITNESSES: No others were with me.
OTHER STORIES: Yes a friend said that his brother seen one. I think it was 2007 some where in the Mountain Home area.
TIME AND CONDITIONS: Around 3:00 am, snowing.
ENVIRONMENT: It is forest and very dense woods. Some houses and livestock, like goats and cows. Thats why I thought it might be a goat at first.
