LOCATION DETAILS: Head west from Rumford on Rt. 2, towards Bethel. Take a right onto Rt. 26, head north 5-10 miles.

OBSERVED: On 2 occasions I have heard a scream in the area of Grafton Notch in Maine. Both times near Old Speck mtn. while winter camping. This all would have been disturbing enough but I was liesurely sipping a beer an watching a documentry on bigfoot with my girlfriend when they played a recording that was supposed to be a bigfoot scream.YOu guessed it...Hair straight out and and an exclamation from both of us of "Oh sh--!"If that was bigfoot then we have been close to him.

Regarding the incident near Old Speck Mountain in western Maine, the witness heard two animals. From the witness' campsite near Old Speck, the screams of the first animal seemed to come from the NW side of Goose Eye Moutain to the south. The screams of the second animal came from near Old Speck, in an area known as Spruce Meadow.
