YEAR: 1973
SEASON: Spring
STATE: Washington
COUNTY: King County
LOCATION DETAILS: Between Black Diamond and Auburn on Hwy 169.
OBSERVED: Looked like a large chimp running along the road. We were in a car going the opposite direction so it was a pretty quick look.
ALSO NOTICED: Nothing unusal, just long unlighted dark country road and forest!
OTHER WITNESSES: Driving home from a friend's house.
ENVIRONMENT: Dense Douglas Fir forest right up to the edge of the road on both sides, actually the trees needed trimming as it was over the road in some areas. No noticable landdmarks. Elevation, Longitude and Latitude not known.
A & G References: Pg. 63, B8
Follow-up investigation report:
Problem with location:
Hwy 169 runs through Black Diamond, north to south. Auburn is due west of Black Diamond. The most direct road connecting Auburn and Black Diamond would be Auburn Black Diamond Rd. R. Noll
