In 1978 a truck driver named Donald Lien said he saw a bigfoot cross the road near the town of Lake Hughes northwest of Palmdale. Lein said the creature was seven feet tall and had to weigh at least 450 pounts. Lien made a plaster cast of a footprint and put a yellow and black "Bigfoot Crossing" decal on the side of his pickup. [Palmdale is a desert community Northeast of Los Angeles].
